Brick Masonry

Masonry workers specialize in constructing durable structures using brick, block, concrete, and both natural and manufactured stone materials. They build and repair walls, walkways, columns, foundations, and a wide range of structural and decorative features. Masons follow detailed plans, ensure proper alignment and stability, and apply skilled techniques that contribute to the strength, longevity, and aesthetic quality of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Building Construction Technology

Building Construction Technology (BCT) workers perform essential maintenance, installation, and repair tasks to keep buildings, mechanical systems, and equipment operating safely and efficiently. Their responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, replacing or fixing components, and ensuring that structural, electrical, and mechanical elements remain in good working order. BCT workers support the overall functionality of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities by maintaining systems that are critical to daily operations.

Plumbing

Plumbers install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures that supply water, remove waste, and support essential building functions. Their work includes assembling pipes, installing sinks, toilets, and water heaters, troubleshooting leaks or blockages, and ensuring that all systems meet safety and code requirements. Plumbers play a vital role in keeping homes, businesses, and public facilities safe, sanitary, and fully operational, contributing to the overall health and livability of our communities.

Carpenters construct, install, and repair building frameworks and structural components using wood and a variety of other materials. Their work includes framing walls, floors, and roofs; installing doors, windows, and trim; and building both structural and finish elements. Carpenters interpret blueprints, measure and cut materials with precision, and ensure each component meets safety, quality, and design specifications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Landscapers ensure that the outdoor spaces of homes, businesses, public buildings, and parks remain attractive, orderly, and healthy. Their work involves planting and maintaining lawns, shrubs, flowers, and trees; installing hardscapes and landscape features; improving soil quality and irrigation systems; and monitoring the overall condition of outdoor environments. Landscapers play an essential role in shaping well-designed, functional outdoor areas that enhance property value, support environmental health, and make our communities more beautiful, welcoming, and livable.

Solar installers set up, maintain, and repair solar energy systems that harness the power of sunlight to generate electricity or heat for homes, businesses, and other buildings. Their work includes mounting solar panels, connecting electrical components, inspecting structures, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. Often called photovoltaic (PV) technicians when working with electrical applications, solar installers play an important role in expanding renewable energy and supporting more sustainable communities.

Air Conditioning

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technicians install, maintain, and troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Their work includes inspecting and servicing equipment, ensuring proper airflow and temperature control, diagnosing system issues, and making repairs that meet safety and efficiency standards. HVAC technicians play an essential role in creating comfortable, healthy, and energy-efficient indoor environments.

Weatherization specialists make targeted upgrades and repairs to homes and buildings to improve energy efficiency and reduce overall energy consumption. Painters apply paint, stain, and protective coatings to walls, ceilings, buildings, machinery, bridges, and other structures to enhance appearance and protect surfaces from wear and environmental damage. Their work includes preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate materials, matching colors, and applying finishes with precision and care. Painters play an important role in maintaining the durability, safety, and visual appeal of residential, commercial, and industrial spaces throughout our communities.
